1. Introduction

This Privacy Statement explains how SkyNRG B.V. (“SkyNRG”, “we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses and protects your personal data when you visit our website at https://skynrg.com and related sites, communicate with us, or interact with our marketing and commercial activities. We are committed to handling your personal data responsibly and in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (“GDPR”) and applicable national data protection legislation.

Where we rely on legitimate interests as our legal basis, we have assessed that our interests are not overridden by your rights and interests. You have the right to object to processing based on legitimate interests at any time (see section 7).

4. Our CRM and Commercial Data Practices

We use HubSpot as our customer relationship management platform to manage our commercial contacts and business development activities. If you are a business contact of SkyNRG, your professional contact details and relevant correspondence may be stored and managed in HubSpot.

In this context we may store your name, job title, company, email address, phone number and records of communications between us. Commercial email communications may be logged to HubSpot as part of our account management process. We may also use automated data enrichment tools to supplement your contact record with additional professional or company information where this is relevant to our business relationship. Where we do so, we rely on legitimate interests and limit enrichment to professional and firmographic data.

If you have provided consent to receive marketing communications from us, for example by signing up at an event or through our website, your consent and the date and method by which it was given will be recorded in HubSpot. You may withdraw consent at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any marketing communication or by contacting us directly.

5. Data Retention

We do not keep your personal data for longer than is necessary for the purposes described in this statement. Our standard retention periods are as follows.

When data is no longer required we will delete or anonymise it securely. Where deletion is not immediately possible, for example due to backup systems, we will isolate the data and prevent further processing until deletion is possible.

Under the GDPR you have the following rights in relation to your personal data. You can exercise any of these rights by contacting us using the details in section 9. We will respond within one calendar month of receiving your request. We may need to verify your identity before processing your request.

  • Right of access: you can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Right to rectification: you can ask us to correct any inaccurate or incomplete data we hold about you.
  • Right to erasure: you can ask us to delete your personal data where there is no longer a lawful basis for us to hold it.

  • Right to data portability: you can request that we provide your data in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format.
  • Right to object: you can object to processing based on legitimate interests or for direct marketing purposes. Where you object to direct marketing we will stop processing immediately. Where you object to other legitimate interests processing we will assess your objection and respond accordingly.
  • Right to withdraw consent: where processing is based on consent you may withdraw it at any time without affecting prior processing.

Where we transfer data outside the European Economic Area we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission.

We do not share your data with third parties for their own marketing purposes without your explicit consent.

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, loss, destruction or alteration. These measures include encryption of data in transit and at rest, access controls and role-based permissions, pseudonymisation where appropriate, regular security reviews, and staff training on data protection obligations.

In the event of a personal data breach that is likely to result in a risk to your rights and freedoms, we will notify the relevant supervisory authority and, where required, affected individuals in accordance with our legal obligations.
